Frequently Asked Questions
We encourage our clients to use our FAQ Section when having trouble logging into their planner. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
I cannot log-in to my file:
There could be several reasons. Most likely you are logging in with the incorrect password. We suggest you try the first name of the bride or main contact – that is our default setting. The password is case sensitive. If you are still having difficulty, please contact us.
My wedding is this week, but I can't log-in:
To ensure we have the most up-to-date information, each planner is locked 5 days prior to the wedding. We ask that you communicate any last minute changes directly to your entertainer via email or over the phone.
I can't put all the music I want on your planner:
We are limited by time the amount of songs we can typically play at any event, particularly a wedding reception. The planner focuses on the actual DANCING portion of your reception. Consider in a 5 hour reception, you’ll only get approximately 2 to 3 hours for dancing time after subtracting for cocktails, dinner and any wedding traditions such as introductions, first dance, cake etc. If an average song lasted 4 minutes long, we could only play 15 in an hour, or 30 in two hours. Our play list allows for you to actually create a Top 30 list - that is more than enough for any experienced entertainer to get an idea for your tastes, likes and dislikes. Trying to request all the songs for your reception wouldn't make sense, as your guests will make requests, and your entertainer will need to insert songs that blend elements of your list together.
The song I want is not in your database:
That’s quite possible. There are millions of songs and we can’t possibly list them all. Just because it’s not listed does not mean we don’t have it or cannot get it. There is a spot in your planner for you to add songs you did not find. Your DJ will gladly discuss your song choices with you.
Do I have to use the online tools?
No, you don't have to use the online tools, as your DJ will be meeting with you anyway to discuss all the details of your reception, but it is highly encouraged that you do this, as it will give you and your DJ a great headstart to the planning process.
How do I make the final payment?
Final payment is due two weeks prior to the date of your event in the form of cash or check. If final payment is made and then overtime fees are incurred at your event, those overtime fees must be paid that evening.
What about meals & gratuity?
While a gratuity is always graciously appreciated, a tip is at the sole discretion of the client. You are not obligated to provide a meal either, although many banquet facilities will arrange for a vendor meal with you.
What is your overtime policy?
If your party is going strong, we’re more than willing to work overtime. Overtime is calculated in half hour increments and must require the DJ to be paid in cash or check only. Furthermore, we must require permission from the property manager prior to performing over our contracted time. Any and all overtime is at the sole discretion of the DJ. Overtime fee is $75.00 per half hour and is to be paid in full in cash or check before the DJ leaves the venue.
